Wubin Wubin is a small town, some 280 kms north-east of Perth and 21 kilometres north of Dalwallinu. The town is on the Goomalling - Mullewa railway line which opened in 1915. The townsite started to develop in 1913 when it was decided that there would be a rail siding here. The town name is adapted from the nearby Woobin Well, an Indigenous name. Wubin is now an important road transport centre with extensive road-train assembly yards |
