Bakers Hill Bakers Hill is a small town on the Great Eastern Highway, east of The Lakes and west of Clackline. In 1887 the town was originally called Mount Barker but the name was changed in 1902 to avoid confusion with the Mount Barker near Albany. Mr Baker (either John or James) was an early settler in the district whose name the town now bears, Bakers Hill is approximately 73 kilometres east of Perth and only 39 kilometres east of Mundaring |
