Kewdale Kewdale is a locality adjacent to Welshpool and Perth Airport and was established in 1949. Kew Street was one of the first roads constructed in the area and is probably name after the Melbourne suburb. Several decades ago, much of this suburb's area was taken up by the Kewdale Freight Terminal. Standard gauge railway runs north to Midland and south to Fremantle. The terminal still exists albeit smaller. Much heavy industry continues to be centred here |
