Kondinin The town of Kondinin is located some 275 kilometres east of Perth. It is medium size-town, a centre for services, retailers and government agencies for the surrounding farming district. The town is within its own Shire, which also encompasses the nearby towns of Hyden and Karlgarin. The railway arrived here in 1915, the same year the town was gazetted. Settlers were in the area earlier. Kondinin is a name of Aboriginal origin but the meaning is obscure |
