Lake Grace

The town of Lake Grace is located on the Dumbleyung - Newdegate Road and close to Lake Grace North and South. The Wagin to Kulin railway passes through town. Lake Grace is some 350 road kilometres south-east of Perth. The town takes its name from the nearby lakes which in turn take their name from Grace Brockman (nee Bussell), wife of Surveyor-General Frederick Brockman. Settlement commenced here in 1911 and the town was gazetted in 1916
