Waterloo

Waterloo is a small community set along the South Western Highway between Picton and Burekup. The surrounding area is filled with dairy farms. The townsite has hardly changed at all over many decades but given its proximity to Bunbury, there will be growth in the area before too long. The Perth - Bunbury rail runs right through Waterloo and at one stage it even boasted its own railway station, albeit tiny. Bramleigh chicken farm used to be just south of town

Waterloo - Hall

The Waterloo Community Hall faces the South Western Highway just south of the Waterloo Road to Dardanup. This looks of recent design. I am sure I can recall an old fibro or asbestos hall here or close by which has gone now. July 2018. Photos Ref: WART001
